As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced executive to lead our endemic ad sales and BD efforts.
Role Overview
As the head of endemic ad sales and BD, you will be responsible for driving advertising revenue from Content Providers (i.e., Media & Entertainment clients) that distribute their content on Whale TV.
You will work with Whale TV Ads leadership to define the sales strategy for Content Providers, establish strong relationships with the Content Providers in key regions for the company, and establish then meet or exceed revenue goals. You will ally with the Whale TV Content Acquisition team to leverage their existing distribution deals with Content Providers and turn those relationships into new revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with Content Providers who distribute content on CTVs and are looking to extend their reach and impact.
- Source ad sales opportunities, create sales proposals and close deals for endemic ad inventory sales.
- Work with the Content Acquisition team to ensure Whale TV has inventory rights on partner applications.
- Define and execute new revenue opportunities for Whale TV via solutions that enable Content Provider to meet their business goals.
- Create ad revenue forecasts, goals and targets for endemic ad sales & regularly report on actuals vs. plan.
- Work closely with Whale TV’s content acquisition team as well as the Ad Ops and marketing teams to tailor solutions that match client goals.
- Provide ongoing client support, campaign insights, and upsell opportunities for endemic advertisers and their agencies.
Qualifications
- 3–6 years in digital ad sales or media partnerships
- Proven track record of hitting revenue targets in advertising sales
- Strong understanding of programmatic advertising, CTV/OTT, and media selling
- Self-starter with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Comfortable working independently and across time zones
- Fluent in English
