Role Overview

As our HbbTV Technical Product Manager, you’ll drive the development, strategy, and execution of HbbTV features on our Smart TV OS. You'll work at the intersection of product, engineering, content, and industry partnerships—ensuring our platform meets evolving market demands and regional content needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive HbbTV Features: Lead the roadmap and implementation of HbbTV features on our Smart TV OS.
• Customize for Regions: Ensure content meets regional needs and complies with broadcasting standards.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product, engineering, QA, and content teams.
• Represent the Company: Attend industry events, present our capabilities, and gather insights.
• Improve & Report: Monitor performance, gather feedback, and track progress with clear reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in HbbTV or interactive TV tech with a strong technical foundation (Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field).
• Tech-Savvy: Knowledge of HbbTV standards, Smart TV platforms, and QA processes.
• Great Communicator: Able to simplify complex topics for diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Industry Aware & Networker: Familiar with the HbbTV ecosystem; existing broadcaster contacts are a plus. Willingness to travel frequently to attend industry events and meet with stakeholders.
• Proactive & Driven: Self-motivated, organized, and excited about shaping the future of TV.
