Whale TV Welcomes New Turnkey TV Manufacturing Partner

Las Vegas, United States – 5th January 2026 - Whale TV, the leading independent TV operating system, today announced new licensing partnerships with five TV brands: Aiwa, Blaupunkt, EFL, ONVO and JVC. These TV brands will start using Whale OS 10, the company’s latest-generation television operating system, for their upcoming smart TV models. Whale TV also announced Moka as a new Whale OS 10 turnkey ODM partner, to its expanding roster of ODMs. Whale TV now works with 40+ TV brands, including Akai, Philips and RCA, who leverage Whale OS 10 for their televisions.

As one of the few TV OS providers that shares platform monetization with OEM partners, Whale TV enables manufacturers to unlock new recurring revenue streams while delivering a great consumer experience. Whale TV also partners with retailers to drive value creation by connecting retail media networks with its media platform. Whale TV now serves more than 45M monthly active TVs, as of Q4 2025.

“Bringing these new TV brands on as licensees underscores the strong global momentum behind our platform,” said Jason He, CEO at Whale TV. “Our mission is to empower TV brands with an OS that is simple, powerful, and truly partnership-driven. With Whale OS 10, we’re delivering an experience that makes watching TV effortless for consumers while ensuring that our TV partners can grow sustainably.”

Whale OS 10 offers consumers a content-first user experience with faster navigation, smarter content discovery, and seamless access to streaming services and live TV. Built for both performance and flexibility, it is designed to support a wide range of TV categories and price points.

These new brand partnerships expand Whale TV’s coverage across three regions:

Europe:

Blaupunkt, one of Europe’s most established TV brands with more than 100 years of heritage, will deploy Whale OS 10 across multiple product lines, bringing advanced smart TV functionality to consumers across its broad European presence. The roll-out will begin in Q2, starting with Germany and Italy, followed by expansion across Blaupunkt’s extensive network throughout Europe.

ONVO will use Whale OS 10 for various models in screen sizes ranging from 24 to 50 inches, with the first models arriving now in Turkey.

Brazil:

EFL will launch its next generation of 2K/4K smart TVs with Whale OS 10 as the TV OS.

Australia:

Whale TV has found strategic partners in JVC and Aiwa to bring the full Whale TV experience to live in Australia. This partnership will allow for retail integration and customisation, local support, and full after sales services. The collaboration establishes a great route-to-market to delight Australian consumers with the smart & simple Whale TV OS.

As Whale TV continues to grow globally, the company remains focused on building long-term, win-win partnerships with TV manufacturers who seek a modern, independent, and revenue-sharing alternative to mainstream platforms.
